Cells are specialised (or non-specialised in the case of stem cells), and are the basic units of life.
- They join together to form tissues.
There are many cells you would have learnt about at GCSE, including:
- gametes (sperm and egg cells)
- red blood cells
- white blood cells and more.
We'll learn about many different cells and their functions during your Tutor Eagle flight through A-Level Biology.
