Haemoglobin
Haemoglobin is a globular protein - this means spherical. It is found in red blood cells and carries oxygen from the lungs around the body.
Dissociation
When red blood cells reach tissues in the body, oxygen is released from the oxyhaemoglobin. This process is called dissociation.
