Photosystem I

  1. Light energy is absorbed by photosystem I, which excites the electrons again
  2. The electrons are transferred to NADP with a proton from the stroma to produce reduced NADP.

 

What is chemiosmosis?

Chemiosmosis is the process of electrons flowing down the electron transport chain and creating a proton gradient across the membrane to drive ATP synthesis.
