An organ system is a group of organs that work together to perform different functions. Let's carry on with our example and look at the respiratory system. It contains the following parts:
- Nose and Mouth
- Throat (pharynx)
- Voice box (larynx)
- Windpipe (trachea)
- Large airways (bronchi)
- Small airways (bronchioles)
- Lungs
